Alyssa Carroll and Danika Hallom both had impressive days at the plate on Saturday, leading the Adna softball team to an 18-7 win over Toledo.
Carroll and Hallom both hit a home run in the victory, and they combined for 10 runs batted in.
Carroll’s three-run blast came in the middle of Adna’s six-run third, while Hallom’s two-run shot plated Adna’s runs in the fourth.
The Pirates scored multiple runs in all five innings, and Hadleigh Gerard ended the game with a run-rule walk-off two-run single in the bottom of the fifth. Gerard finished the day with three hits.
Khloe Hunt added two doubles and scored two runs, and Teagan Baggenstos, Kendall Humphrey, and Brytin Dollarhyde each tallied multiple hits.
Peyton Holter also hit a home run, a three-run shot that gave Toledo the lead in the top of the second, and she also hit a double. Kailea Lairson went a perfect 3 for 3 and scored a run.
On Monday, Adna (2-2) will be back at home to host Pe Ell-Willapa Valley in a state quarterfinal rematch, while Toledo (2-1-2) will host Onalaska.
