The Centralia College women’s soccer team opened conference action with a decisive loss Wednesday, falling 6-0 to Pierce.

The Raiders opened the scoring in the sixth minute, and doubled their lead in the 20th to take a 2-0 advantage into half.

The Trailblazers kept the deficit there for 20 minutes out the break, before Pierce’s Ashlyn Kennedy struck twice in less than two minutes in the 73rd and 75th, and the Raiders added one more for good measure in the 81st.

CC will get a week off to prepare for its conference home opener, at Bob Peters Field next Wednesday against Green River.
