Centralia College’s Jayda Thomas impressed all season for the Trailblazers this season, and earlier this week, Thomas was named the NWAC’s Baden Women’s Golfer of the Year.
She averaged a score of 79.6 strokes per round, nearly two full strokes better than the next closest golfer, according to the Conference’s release.
The release also highlighted how Thomas is one of four women’s golfers to break 80 in a round this season, and she did it three times.
The defending NWAC Championship Medalist will look to have another strong performance at the NWAC Championships on May 18 and 19 at the Apple Tree Golf Course in Yakima.
