Behind six combined RBIs from Ava Horst and Payton Baumel, the Tigers scored exactly three runs in three separate innings to post a 10-4 victory at Fort Borst Park over Shelton in an Evergreen Conference showdown on Friday afternoon.

For the first time since scoring an eye-popping 30 runs against R.A. Long, Centralia (6-9, 4-8 EvCo) won a game by multiple runs. Baumel registered a run-scoring single in a three-run first, then roped an RBI double in the second.

Horst came in as a pinch-hitter in the fifth and laced a double that plated two runs, then poked a two-run single in the sixth. Hollynn Wakefield ended the afternoon with five strikeouts and allowed five hits. The Tigers start the final week of league play at Aberdeen on Monday.
