Centralia suffers first loss against Woodland

The Centralia girls basketball team suffered its first loss of the season on Friday, as the Tigers were defeated by Woodland 56-18.

Brooklyn Sprague scored nine of the Tigers’ 18 points, while Payton Baumel added six. Maddie Ahern added two points, and Chloe Bonomi rounded out the Centralia scorers with a point at the line.

The Tigers (1-1) will look to get back in the win column on Wednesday at home against Fort Vancouver.
