Enrollment is now open for Centralia’s Theatre of Arts Discipline (TOAD) summer camps. Two summer camps will be offered, a “Fantasy” camp and a “Fairy Tale” camp.

The first camp will be held from July 11 through July 31 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. with the theme of “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.” The second camp will be held from Aug. 1 through Aug. 21, also from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and will have the theme of “Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella.”

“Your child could journey through a wardrobe to Narnia to find themselves in a land of mythical creatures or they can help Cinderella get free from her wicked stepmother and stepsisters and find her Prince,” TOAD’s announcement stated.

“The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” costs $250 to register while the “Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella” option costs $350. There is a non-refundable deposit of $50.

Children ages 8 to 16 may take part. Classes are held Monday through Friday. Students must bring their own lunch and water each day.
