Chehalis Critter Care to hold ribbon-cutting for grand reopening

Chehalis Critter Care recently announced its plans for a grand reopening.

To celebrate the occasion, a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce will be held at noon on Friday, Jan. 17.

The celebration is open to the public and will be held at Chehalis Critter Care.

Chehalis Critter Care is located at 561 U.S. Highway 12 near Mary’s Corner.

Britt Toepelt, the owner of Chehalis Critter Care, originally opened her shop in 2017.

After a house fire in January 2023, Toepelt was forced to close down. Now, Toepelt is ready to get back in the game and continue providing grooming services to local pets.

Toepelt expressed her enthusiasm for the grand reopening of Chehalis Critter Care.

“I’m most excited for getting the word out that we're back in business and meeting new people and new pets, and I’m just happy and thankful to be back open again after being closed for so long,” she stated in a news release from the chamber.

The Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce hosts ribbon-cutting ceremonies for local businesses that are expanding, rebranding or celebrating significant milestones.

The ceremonies are available for both members and non-members of the chamber.

The chamber encourages community members to join and celebrate Chehalis Critter Care at its ribbon-cutting ceremony.
