Maximilian Motorsportsowner says gift will provide students a chance ‘to get under the hood of something special’

Maximilian Motorsports, with help from WORLDPAC, has gifted a Porsche Cayenne SUV to the W.F. West High School auto program.

“Now, these students aren’t just getting hands-on experience — they’re working on a Porsche that’ll bring much-needed funding to their program and fuel their passion for cars,” Maximilian Motorsports stated in a news release.

W.F. West High School’s auto program is part of the school’s career and technical education (CTE) program, which aims to prepare students for postsecondary training programs and career opportunities.

“Our team remembers what it’s like to dream big and learn by doing,” said Maximilian Macdonald, founder of Maximilian Motorsports.

Macdonald was the keynote speaker at W.F. West High School's career and technical education kick-off event in October.

“With WORLDPAC’s help, we’re giving these students a rare chance to get under the hood of something special — and keep their program running strong for the next generation,” Macdonald said.

WORLDPAC supplied Maximilian Motorsports with “the critical parts needed to get (the Porsche) road-ready,” according to a news release.

“This project means more than just a car on wheels. It’s a testament to what community and industry support can do for local students who are eager to learn,” Maximilian Motorsports said in a news release. “Thanks to WORLDPAC’s donation, this Porsche went from a parked project to a fully functional machine — one that these students can put to work and eventually auction off, with every penny going right back into their auto program.”

Maximilian Motorsports extended its thanks to WORLDPAC for “stepping up in a big way,” and to W.F. High School students and staff “for jumping into this project with enthusiasm and grit.”

Said Maximilian Motorsports, “We’re excited to see where these skills — and this car — will take them.”

Maximilian Motorsports was founded in Chehalis in 1993, offering vehicle maintenance, service, and repair on many makes and models. Maximilian Motorsports also offers industry-leading educational opportunities for their automotive technicians and students alike.
