Members of the Chehalis Canoe Family perform at a fundraising event for the Chehalis Tribal Loan Fund Friday at the Lucky Eagle Casino and Hotel.
The annual fundraiser for the Chehalis Tribal Loan Fund is scheduled for 6 p.m. Nov. 9 at Lucky Eagle Casino in Rochester with a reception and registration beginning at 5 p.m.
The event includes a feast of traditional foods, a dessert dash, silent auction, raise the paddle and keynote speaker Swil Kanim.
The fund was established in 2006 and is a designated Native Community Development Financial Institution, one of five in the state, according to the tribe.
The loan fund helps members improve their credit, consolidate bills or start a small business.
Last year, the fund had its second fundraiser banquet and auction and raised $20,000.
