Court documents in the case of the Clark County man who allegedly admitted to police that he stabbed his sister to death reveal new details.

Dwayne Robinson, 34, is charged with first-degree murder in the killing of 36-year-old Diane Robinson and is being held without bail, court documents say. The two lived together in the 7500 block of Northeast 123rd Court.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday after receiving a call from Kenneth Leachman, Diane Robinson’s ex-husband, who said that Dwayne Robinson stabbed her to death, court records say.

Leachman told police that he stopped by the home to check on Diane Robinson, and Dwayne Robinson told Leachman that he killed Diane Robinson, records say.

Deputies surrounded the home and Dwayne Robinson immediately surrendered. Deputies found Diane Robinson’s body covered by a blanket in the kitchen, records say.

Dwayne Robinson told deputies he suffered from “depression, sadness and pain” because his sister had been poisoning him for years, court documents say.

Police said he said he decided to kill her around Sunday, Sept. 15. He found her eating in the kitchen and stabbed her in the chest four times with a hunting knife before she fell to the floor and died. “After that he covered her with a blanket and later ate her food because it wasn’t poisoned,” court documents say.

Dwayne Robinson’s next court appearance is scheduled for 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23.
