Track & Field

Mikel Elliott, a senior from White Pass High School, wrapped up her college track career by placing fourth in the 3,000-meter run on March 7 in Geneva, Ohio, at the NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships.

Elliott, running for Concordia University, finished in a school-record 9:54.67 to earn her fourth NAIA All-American honor, beating the old school record by nearly 2 seconds.

Elliott also ran a leg on Concordia’s seventh-place distance medley relay team.
