Volunteer Income Tax Assistance

March 12, 13 and 14 at the Mossyrock Grange Hall, 152 Isbell Road, Mossyrock

Free tax preparation for seniors and folks in the low income category. Bring income papers. This program will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 12 and 14 and from 12 to 6 p.m. on March 13.

 

Bingo

March 12 at the Adna Grange, 123 Dieckman Road, Chehalis; doors at 3 p.m., games from 4 to 6 p.m.

Refreshments will be available for purchase.

 

Ladies Luncheon

March 14 at the Church of the Nazarene meeting room, 1119 W. First St., Centralia; 12 to 1:30 p.m.

Free Concert

March 14 at Corbet Theater; 7 p.m.

To celebrate the approaching end of winter, the Pacific Northwest Chamber Orchestra will be holding a free concert. Masks and social distancing are encouraged.

 

Cyber Security Luncheon

March 16 at Jeremy’s Farm to Table, 576 W. Main St., Chehalis; 12 to 1 p.m.

All are invited to the Economic Alliance of Lewis County’s second cyber security presentation with guest speaker and cyber security expert JT Mundi from Kodenum, Inc.

Centralia School District Spring Strings Concert

March 17 in the Centralia Performing Arts Center; 7:30 p.m.

All the Centralia School District strings students will be sharing the music they’ve been preparing since January.

 

Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet

March 18 at Hotel Washington, 545 N. Market Blvd., Chehalis; Social hour at 6 p.m., dinner at 6:30 p.m. and program at 7 p.m.

Dance Festival Northwest

March 19 at Centralia College’s Corbet Theater; 7 p.m.

Tickets are available online at https://www.swwdance.org/ in person at 437 N. Market Blvd., Chehalis and at the door if available. Seating will be at half capacity and masks are required. Riverside Fire Authority Meeting

March 23 at Station 2 headquarters, 1818 Harrison Ave., Centralia; 5 p.m.

These meetings are held on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month.

 

Book Sale

March 23 through 26 at the Lewis County Mall in Chehalis; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday

Proceeds of this annual gently-used book sale go to the American Association of University Women Lewis County chapter. Those wishing to donate used books may call 360-736-2147 or 360-262-3499. Masks are encouraged.

 

Superhero Fun Run

March 26 at Fort Borst Park; 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

This fun run, walk or roll is free to enter. It will be hosted by Kiddin’ Around and the Centralia Prevention Coalition. Kids and families of all ages are welcome to come dressed as their favorite superhero to raise money for the Centralia Athletics and Activities Facilities Foundation. New Parent Fair

March 26 at the Morton Elementary School gym; 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This free fair will include infant CPR instruction and parenting tips. A photographer will be set up for family or pregnancy photos. There will also be activity booths, door prizes and snacks. Those who call Louise at 360-496-3344 to RSVP by March 18 will receive a free packet of diapers.

 

Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Banquet

March 26 at the Jester Auto Museum and Event Center, 321 Hamilton Road, Chehalis; 4 p.m.

Onalaska 26th Annual Scholarship Dinner and Auction

March 26 at the Onalaska High School Gym; Doors open at 5 p.m., dinner from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
