Polar Plunge

Jan. 8 at Mayfield Lake; 9 a.m.

ARTrails of Southwest Washington Workshop

Jan. 8 at the Vernetta Smith Chehalis Timberland Library, 400 N. Market Blvd., Chehalis; 11 a.m.

Riverside Fire Authority Meeting

Jan. 12 at Station 2 headquarters, 1818 Harrison Ave., Centralia; 5 p.m.

These meetings are held on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month.

 

Workgroup for Parents of Children With Disabilities

Jan. 12 at the Jenson Memorial Event Center, Veterans Memorial Museum at 100 SW Veterans Way; 5:30 to 7 p.m.

This class is hosted on the second Wednesday of every month until May by Reliable Enterprises and Lewis County Public Health and Social Services. Topics include preparing for graduation and other transitions, social security, employment supports and more. Lewis County Cemetery District #1 Monthly Meeting

These meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month.

 



Starlit Night Paint

Jan. 13 at the Morton Moose Lodge; Doors open at 5:45 p.m., Event from 6 to 8 p.m.

New Years Market and Craft Fair

Jan. 15 at the Jester Auto Museum, 321 Hamilton Road, Chehalis; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This event by Gemini Events and Design will host over 50 vendors. There will be free parking and free admission.

 

Civil Air Patrol Open House

Jan. 15 at 1215 W. Main St., Centralia; 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Crab Feed

Jan. 15 at the Packwood Community Hall; Doors and bar at 5 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m.

This is an annual fundraiser by the Packwood Improvement Club for the Packwood community.

Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet

Jan. 21 at Hotel Washington, 545 N. Market Blvd., Chehalis; Social hour at 6 p.m., dinner at 6:30 p.m. and program at 7 p.m.

Cat Show

Jan. 22 and 23 at the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds, 1909 S. Gold St., Centralia; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A cat show will be held at Blue Pavilion. Admission is $4 for adults, $6 for groups or families of four and $2 for seniors, vets and students. Over 75 “exotic feline beauties will be posing for judges” and competing for awards, according to a press release from And a Mouse Cat Club, the event host. Parking is free and there will be animal toys, beds and other supplies for sale.
