Pop-Up Timberland Regional Library in Toledo

Feb. 24 at the Toledo Community Library; 3 to 5 p.m.

Timberland Regional Library will host a "Pop-Up Library" on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month in Toledo. There will be take-home books, DVDs, craft bags and guests will be able to print documents and connect with library staff.

 

Brad Upton Comedy

Feb. 25 at The Juice Box in Centralia; doors at 7 p.m., show at 8 p.m.

Brad Upton, as seen on Drybar comedy, will perform. The show will also feature Jeremiah Coughlan. Tickets are available at hubcomedy.com.

 

Friends of the Winlock Library Book Sale Fundraiser

Feb. 26 next to the Post Office parking lot at 300 NE First St., Winlock; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Proceeds support the Winlock Timberland Library. Sales by donation, change cannot be made. Attendees are asked to please wear masks. Call 360-785-3461 for more information.

 

Potato Bake

Feb. 26 at the Adna grange, 123 Dieckman Road, Chehalis; 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Admission costs $7 and includes a potato, toppings, salad, a beverage and dessert. 

 

Lincoln Day Dinner

Feb. 26 at The Loft in Chehalis; 6 p.m. VIP doors open at 5 p.m.

Lazy HK Rodeo Winter Event

Feb. 26 at 365 Schoen Rd, Silver Creek; Gates open at 5 p.m., riding starts at 6 p.m.

Bring your own beverage and snacks. Adult admission costs $10, kids 5 and under are free.

Dogs and underage drinking are not allowed.

 

Lewis County COVID Memorial Service

March 2 at the Centralia United Methodist Church; 12 p.m.

Bells will be rung at this Ash Wednesday service in memory of the more than 224 lives lost to COVID-19 in Lewis County over the pandemic. For more information, call Pastor Vangie at 360-736-7311 or 360-556-3278.

   

7th Annual Free Seed Swap

March 5 at the Toledo Library

Due to COVID restrictions, attendees are asked to sign up at the library in advance. Sign ups will be open on Wednesday and Thursday from 12 to 4 p.m. or Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Plan to drop off seed donations (2020, or newer) when signing up. There will be a self-serve, cafeteria-style seed selection this year.

 

Miss Lewis County

March 5 at the Centralia High School Center for Performing Arts, 813 Eshom Road, Centralia; 7 p.m.

Five young women will compete for the title of Miss Lewis County at this scholarship pageant.
