Lincoln Day Dinner Fundraiser

The Lewis County Republican Party is holding its annual Lincoln Day Dinner fundraiser. The speakers include talk radio host Todd Herman, comedian Josh Novey and Center for Self-Governance founder Mark Herr. Local activist Glen Morgan will serve as host. Roll for a Cause: March Bowl-a-Thon
March 19 at the Mill Town Smokehouse, 834 Westlake Drive, Morton; 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Mill Town Smokehouse will hold a monthly Bowl-a-Thon sponsored by the Morton Seniors Advisory Board, which provides services to local senior citizens through the Morton Senior Center. There will be teams of four, each of which requires a $150 sponsorship to participate, $100 of which the Morton Senior Center will directly receive in addition to other donations and raffle proceeds.
20th Legislative District Virtual Town Hall

State Sen. John Braun and state Reps. Ed Orcutt and Peter Abbarno are inviting 20th legislative district residents to attend their virtual town hall. Botanical Bartending Workshop Series

Herbalist Lauren Olean will teach this herbal mixology class. Attendees can learn how to make herbal liqueurs, syrups, sugars and cocktail bitters in a relaxed and mindful environment. The class will cover how to work with different herbs that grow locally and their medicinal benefits. Attendees will make products together and sample ingredients. One drink is included. Lewis County AAUW Used Book Sale
March 23, 24 and 25 at the Moose Lodge, 1400 Grand Ave., Centralia; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Book prices will drop every day with the best selection of books on March 23. On March 25 books will be $5 per bag all day. The proceeds are used to fund college scholarships and other educational opportunities for women.
Family Resource Fair
March 25 at the Morton Elementary School Gym, 400 W. Main Ave., Morton; 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
There will be information on infant and child CPR, booths, free raffle drawings, games, a photography session, free books and a fire truck. Free diapers can be reserved for pick up at the event by parents who are expecting or have a baby up to 18 months old by calling 360-496-3749 by March 17. There will be parenting health tips from Jason Whitney, ARNP, FNP-C and Dr. Travis Podbilski.
Stationary Dinner Train
March 25 at the Chehalis Centralia Railroad and Museum, 1101 SW Sylvenus St., Chehalis; 5 p.m.
Attendees will be able to have a three-course dinner with musical entertainment aboard renovated 1920s dining cars and can choose between roasted chicken with potatoes or fettuccine alfredo. Tickets are $66 and are available at SteamTrainRide.com. Attendance is limited to 48 guests.
