Toutle Lake got all the scoring it would need in one inning Thursday in Randle, capping off a C2BL sweep of the Morton-White Pass baseball team with an 11-1 victory over the T-Wolves.
The Ducks tagged MWP starter Brecken Pelletier for nine runs in the first inning, putting up five before the T-Wolves could record an out. Pelletier settled down and didn’t allow a hit the following two innings, but by then the damage had been done.
MWP got its run in the bottom of the first after a Pelletier double and a Keeton Thompson hit-by-pitch, when the Ducks tried to turn a double play but ended up putting the second throw wild.
Kris Elliot went 2 for 3 on the day with a double of his own at the top of the MWP order.
The T-Wolves will be back April 10, at home in Morton against Napavine.
