Earth Day: Test an Electric or Hybrid Vehicle at I-5 Cars, Get a Tree Planted 

In observance of Earth Day and in light of a growing number of available electric and hybrid vehicles, Chehalis-based I-5 Cars is offering a green promotion. 

On Thursday and Friday, anyone who test drives an electric or hybrid vehicle at the company’s dealerships will have a tree donated in their name. 

“We felt it was a good time to get more active on Earth Day and do our part,” said I-5 Cars Vice President Robert Pehl. 

I-5 Cars dealerships include I-5 Toyota, Awesome Ford, Awesome Chevrolet Buick, I-5 Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM Fiat, Awesome RV and Volkswagen of Olympia. 

Some of the models available for test drives include the Volkswagen ID.4, the Toyota Venza, the Ford Mustang Mach-E, the Chevrolet Bolt and the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4XE.

Pehl said the number of electric and hybrid vehicles has continued to increase as technology improves and options broaden. 

Test drives allow motorists the opportunity to learn about the advances. 

“I think everyone should get to know the new technology and what’s out there so they can make an educated decision in their future buying process,” he said.
