Five Green Hill School inmates charged for alleged December prison riot

Five Green Hill School inmates are facing felony prison riot charges for allegedly participating in a fight at the Chehalis facility on Dec. 9.

Jose Alejandro Cervantes, 21; Emiliano Charre-Nunez, 20; Sergio Hernandez-Hernandez, 19; Adrian Mendoza, 22; and Joseph A. Odden, 19; each face one count of prison riot, which is a class B felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison. Charges were filed in Lewis County Superior Court on Jan. 29.

Hernandez-Hernandez, Mendoza, Charre-Nunez and an unnamed juvenile inmate allegedly ran from one wing to another inside the facility on Dec. 9.



“All were given directives not to fight, but those directives were ignored,” according to court documents.

Cervantes and Odden allegedly arrived from a different wing and joined the fight while it was ongoing, according to court documents.

Arrangement hearings are scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 15.
