The Oakville boys basketball team went north Friday night, and the Acorns came home with a 66-37 win over Chief Leschi.
Four Acorns scored at least 11 points, including Daniel Rodas, who scored 11 in the first to help Oakville build a 14-point lead. The Acorns continued to build on the lead and pull away throughout the rest of the game.
Rodas went on to finish with a game-high 24 points, while Jordan Eichelberger scored 14, Lewis Koser logged 12, and Gio Rodas added 11. Isaiah Bird and James Shields also got on the scoresheet, combining to add four points.
Oakville (3-1) will return home to begin league play, as Wahkiakum will come to town on Tuesday.
