George was born in Morton, Wash., and graduated from Morton High School in 1956. He married Joyce Pate from Mossyrock, moved to Tacoma and then to Renton to work at Boeing until his retirement. George and Joyce returned to Mossyrock and Mayfield Lake upon retirement, where they had many friends and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. George enjoyed playing men’s softball, his 1951 Chevrolet, fishing and their boat and spending time with his family.
George is survived by his wife, Joyce; daughter, Shari and son-in-law, Bret; granddaughter, Dana and her husband, Shaun and granddaughter, Keri; and great-grandchildren, Rex and Kaya.
