Hoyt-Siler, Spriggs place at state bowling meet

W.F. West’s Savanna Hoyt-Siler and Centralia’s Bailee Spriggs both had success at the 1A/2A State Bowling Tournament on Wednesday and Thursday in Tukwila, as they both placed in the top eight to finish as medalists.

Hoyt-Siler finished third with a score of 1,071, trailing only R.A. Long’s Lily Mattison and Ava Rodman, who finished two points apart in first and second, respectively.



Spriggs came in at eighth, finishing with 996 points, just two back of Highline’s Abigail Klein, who took seventh.

W.F. West also had success in the team standings, finishing third with 6,730 points. R.A. Long took home the team title with 7,364 points, while Fort Vancouver took second with 6,692.
