Shoppers in Lewis County and the surrounding area now have a new grocery option as the WinCo Foods in the new Centralia Station shopping center officially opened for business on the morning of Monday, April 7.

Hundreds flooded the new 24-hour, 84,000-square-foot grocery store, known for being an employee-owned warehouse style store and having discounted prices.

A Port of Centralia development project, Centralia Station features WinCo as its anchor tenant and is expected to be joined by a soon-to-be constructed Chick-fil-A along with another smaller 11,000-square-foot retail building for other businesses.

Groundbreaking for the Chick-fil-A is expected to happen in late 2025, according to the Port of Centralia. Additionally, Port of Centralia Commissioner Kyle Markstrom stated last September a Chipotle would be built at Centralia Station.

Based out of Idaho with stores throughout Arizona, Nevada, California, Utah, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, Texas, Oklahoma and Washington state, Centralia Station’s WinCo is now the 142nd store opened by the business. It is located at 1005 S. Yew St.
