In Loving Memory of Babe Gail Morin: 1938-2022

Posted

Bebe Gail Morin was called to heaven on July 30, 2022, at the age of 83 years old. She leaves behind her son, Duane Morin, and daughter, Linda Young.

Bebe Morin (Elliott) was born Dec. 1, 1938, to Lucille (Bratcher) and Arleigh Elliott of Mossyrock, Washington. As she was growing up, she avidly loved riding horses on the family farm. She spent all of her school years, kindergarten through high school, in Mossyrock.

During school, Bebe met her future husband William “Bill” Morin. They were married in the Mossyrock Community Church in 1956. Bebe and Bill were blessed with four children: Duane, Dwight, Linda and Darin. During their lives together, the family moved away from the Mossyrock community but eventually returned home. Bebe and Bill loved their home on Bowen Road in the same area Bebe grew up. Together they owned their business, Morin Enterprises, making custom pool tables. They took pride in spoiling their grandchildren.

After Bill passed in 2006, Bebe took on a quieter life and immersed herself into the hobbies she loved most which included reading, golfing and painting.

Bebe is survived by son Duane Morin; daughter Linda (Willard) Young; daughter-in-law Tish Day; grandsons Tyler (Krysi) Young, Ryan Young and Jacob Young; granddaughter Whitney Morin; and great-grandson Owen Young, as well as numerous cousins and good friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, sister, parents, husband and two sons.

Bebe’s celebration of life is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2022, at the Mossyrock Community Church. A reception to follow the service will be at the Lewis County Fire District 3 meeting room.
