Carl Arthur "Bud" Bushell, age 88, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022, in South Bend, Washington.
Carl was born Sept. 27, 1933, at his home at Offut Lake, Tenino, Washington to Carl U. and Duane M. (Eymer) Bushell.
Carl married Lois Gonia, Feb. 14, 1953. They were married 62 years before Lois passed in 2015.
Together they had four children, Kathleen (Craig) Gariepy, Ray (Rhonda) Bushell, Colleen (Mark) Svinth and Darlene (Johnny) Camp; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Carl was in the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army. After the Army, he went to work for Kosmos Timber Company and worked in Washington, Alaska and California in the timber industry.
In 1978, he joined the Operating Engineers and finished out his working career.
Carl was a member of the Tenino Eagles, Masonic Lodge #86, The Moose Lodge, VFW and American Legion,
Carl and Lois moved to Raymond in 2000 and enjoyed retirement, the community and their grandchildren.
Carl chose to have no funeral service or celebration of life.
