Clara Mae Lusk (Berg) went home to be with the lord on Oct. 6, 2024, after battling cancer at the age of 75.
Clara was born Feb. 7, 1949, to Emil and Louise Berg. Clara spent her childhood years in the Boistfort Valley before moving with her mom, brother Lanny and sister Terry to Wapato, Washington, and then returning to Pe Ell, Washington, where she raised her family.
Clara loved animals and the Seahawks, and her gardening skills were impeccable. She could turn any place she called home into a beautiful place. Clara was a resilient hard worker and spent many years working for National Frozen Foods in Chehalis, Washington.
Clara is survived by her children, Darlene Denman, Tye (Rachelle) Lusk, Yvonne (Ken) Keller, and Clayburn Lusk. Clara had six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Her sisters are Marietta Nichols, Emily (Ron) Brooks, Olga McClure and Terry Rodgers. Her brothers are Emil (Darlene) and Lanny (Debbie) Berg.
Clara is preceded in death by her mom, Louise Baggenstos, and brother, Larry Berg.

A graveside gathering will be held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 6 at Boistfort Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Baw Faw grange. In lieu of donations and flowers, please donate to your favorite pet charity.
