In Loving Memory of Dana Keller: 1964-2022

Posted

Dana Marlene Keller (Jensen), born Feb. 2, 1964, in Des Moines, Iowa, went to be with Jesus on Jan. 8, 2022, at the age of 57.

Dana leaves behind husband Dennis Keller, mother and father Sue and Doyle (Theresa) Jensen, brother Kelly Jensen (Diane), sister-in-law Roni Jensen, father and mother-in-law Michael and Marilyn Keller, two sons Brennan (Tara), Mason (Trisha), grandbabies Calvin (6), Maggie (5), and Jameson (5) and a community full of family, friends and students she has impacted with her love.

Dana lived a life that radiated with a love incapable of measure or limit. Dana lived without boundaries, making every soul she brushed up against feel seen, loved, heard and valued. She won’t just be remembered as a wife, but as a true partner in life. She won’t just be remembered as a mother and grandmother, but as someone who always said yes, giving of herself as if she always had time and as if her love knew no bounds. She won’t just be remembered as a teacher, but as someone who knew how to build students up to take on more than they ever thought possible. She won’t just be remembered for her love of singing, but for the moments she spent singing with her dad, and nights of karaoke with her family, friends and Young Life kids. She won’t just be remembered for her love of travel, but for the moments and memories she created all over the world with friends and family. For a life cut too short, she loved endlessly.

The pain of this loss runs deep. She loved and cared for people exceptionally and the cost of that love is this immense grief felt throughout our community. Moving forward without her here on this earth will be hard, but as she would have quoted, “We can do hard things!” — Glennon Doyle

“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, for what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” - 2 Corinthians 4:18

The essence of Dana is impossible to convey in 400 words, which is why we invite everyone who has been impacted by Dana’s life to attend a service that will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Bethel Church, 132 Kirkland Rd, Chehalis, Washington. Please wear a mask.
