Darlene Lareine Hill, 76, of Rochester, Washington, died suddenly on Oct. 2, 2024.
Darlene was born in Centralia in 1948 to Orville and Henrietta Taylor. She worked at her parents’ restaurant for many years. She attended Centralia High School before going to work at Interchecks Inc. and then as a caregiver for Catholic Community Services. Helping people was in Darlene’s nature.
Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Hill; her parents; and her brother, Jerry Taylor. Darlene is survived by her sister-in-law, nieces, cousins and their extended families.
A gravesite gathering will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22, at Sticklin Greenwood Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Union Gospel Mission are appreciated.
Darlene, you left us too soon. We will miss your sparkling presence and good nature. May you rest in peace.
