In Loving Memory of David Haladay : 1974-2021

 David L. Haladay, 46, passed away June 24, 2021, in Olympia, Wash., due to COVID-19 and other complications. He was born September 22, 1974, to Albert and Barbara (Hoffman) Haladay in Enumclaw, Wash. A resident of Centralia, Wash., for 40 years, he attended Centralia public schools, and was co-founder of B&D Market, a discount grocery store, and later was a real estate investor.
He married his partner in Vancouver, British Columbia, on January 5, 2004.
David was quick to analyze and logically come to conclusions based on research, memory, and experience. He was quick-witted, loving, accepting and loyal. David was result-oriented, determined, and patriotic. He loved exploring out-of-the-way places and seeing new territory. David’s big heart and smile were thoroughly appreciated by his circle of friends and family.
He enjoyed collecting baseball cards. David’s pastimes included crossword puzzles, cooking, the outdoors, exploring, his pets, reading, researching, and discovering investment opportunities.
He is survived by his spouse; father, Albert Haladay; and brothers, William “Will” and Albert “Al.” He was predeceased by his mother, Barbara Haladay.
