Dean E. Bushnell passed away Oct. 19, 2021, due to cancer surrounded by his wife and daughters. He was born Aug. 3, 1970, in Centralia, Washington. He attended Centralia High School, and got his associate’s degree in criminal justice at Centralia College. Dean and Denise got married on June 20, 2009. He will be greatly missed by his wife Denise Bushnell, and their daughters Crystal Bushnell and wife Angie, Melissa Berg, Makayla Bushnell and four grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father James Bushnell and daughter Ashley Bushnell. Dean was so proud of his family. He loved them unconditionally. He was their hero, protector and best friend. Dean enjoyed camping, quad riding, being with his family and playing on his John Deere tractor. He will be remembered by his sense of humor, generous smile and his willingness to help anyone he loved. Dean will be greatly missed and his memory will be kept alive by his wife and daughters. A celebration of life is being held at the Ford's Prairie Grange on Jan. 15, 2022, at 1 p.m., followed by a taco bar and potluck.
