In loving memory of Denise Aileen Anderson: 1960-2024

Posted

Denise Aileen Anderson, surrounded by family, unexpectedly went home to her Lord on May 12, 2024, in Seattle, Washington. We would like to thank Providence Centralia Hospital, Life Flight and Harborview Medical Center for all their kindness and support during our most difficult day.

Denise was born March 14, 1960, in Seattle to David Reynoldson and Aileen Newman. On Feb. 15, 1986, she married the love of her life, her soulmate, Michael Anderson.

Denise is survived by her father, mother, children, Jenny Burr, of Centralia, Jill Burr, of Tumwater, Phillip Anderson, of Covington, Meagen Anderson, of Tumwater; siblings Dennis Reynoldson of St George, Utah, and Edith Bottemiller of Fife; sister-in-law Nancy; brother-in-law Chad; 11 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Denise’s passions were gardening, cooking, crocheting and helping others. She had the “greenest” of green thumbs and loved showing off all her flowers. She was awarded many ribbons from the fair. If you showed up at the house, you were going to eat. Her favorite times were Thanksgiving and Christmas because she was in her element, cooking and feeding the people she loved.

Please honor her by being extra special to someone every day.

A  celebration of life will be held June 9, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Hope Church, 302 E. Main, Centralia. There will be no graveside service.
