In Loving Memory of Donna ‘Denise’ Nacht: 1949 -2022

Posted

Our beloved wife, mother, nana and friend joined our Lord and her parents on Dec. 15, 2022, at St. Peter Hospital in Olympia.

Denise was born Sept. 13, 1949, in Bellflower, California. She spent her childhood years with her parents, John E. and Beverly Williams, in Lakewood, California.

She often visited extended family, which included aunt Dorothy Strange, and her cousins, Joe, John L., Sara June, Jason and John R. She graduated from Lakewood (California) High School in 1967 and has maintained friendships with many of her classmates, including her BFF Glenda and Sharon, through the years.

Denise met her husband Bob on a blind date in 1972 and they married Dec. 14, 1974. They raised two beautiful children, John Michael (Mike) and Tracy Lyn. The family moved to Chehalis in 1979 for a small town and slower pace to raise their children.

Denise started a business, Calico Crafts of Chehalis. She truly enjoyed the creative process and meeting others who loved to craft and create. She retired from this venture in 1989.

Denise became a nana to Rilee Jane, Cooper Jack, Jessica Jordan and John Everett. No conversation was complete without mention of her grandchildren.

Her family was her pride and joy.

Denise is survived by her husband of 48 years, Bob, at home in Chehalis, her son Mike and his wife Cindy in San Antonio, Texas, and daughter Tracy in Chehalis, her grandchildren and so many dear family members and friends.

We miss you so much, Dear Nana.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023, at Sticklin Chapel, 1437 S. Gold St., Centralia, Washington.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to an animal shelter or St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.  Her ashes will be returned to Mother Earth at a later date.
