In Loving Memory of Elizabeth Waller-Bremgartner: 1932-2022

Elizabeth Agnes Waller-Bremgartner, 90, of St. Urban (Winlock), Washington, passed away peacefully on Aug. 26, 2022, at the Family Care Retirement Home in Cathedral City, California. 

She was born March 14, 1932, in St. Urban (Winlock), Washington, the daughter of the late Agnes and Joseph Waller. She was the oldest of two siblings. On Nov. 23, 1957, she married Lewis Eugene Bremgartner, who preceded her in death. 

As a lifelong Lewis County resident, she graduated from St. Mary’s Academy in Toledo, Washington, in 1950. Following graduation, she served as a telephone operator for Pacific Northwest Bell. After the birth of her first child, she remained home to raise her family. She was very artistic, played the piano, having been taught by her aunt MaryAnn, and was an accomplished self-taught cake baker and designer. She also collected and repaired dolls, loved time with friends, dining out, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. Her guardian angels were always at her side. 

She is survived by her daughter Deb, of Thousand Palms, California; son Joe, of Rancho Mirage, California; grandson Matthew, of Pismo Beach, California; and granddaughter Justine, of Lacey, Washington. She is also survived by additional family members and spouses Alan Fuller, Kelley Bremgartner, Teresa Perales and Sarah Brewer, and as well as a number of nieces and nephews. 

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis, brother Robert, and her parents, Agnes and Joseph. 

A graveside service will be held on Sept. 8, 2022 at 1 p.m. at the St. Urban Cemetery in Winlock, Washington, which is on the corner of Sargent and North Military roads.
