Frances “Fran” Jean Derrey Altom Patterson passed away quietly Aug. 12, 2020 in Phoenix, Arizona, with her family by her side.
Frances was born Nov. 29, 1931, to Inez Margaret (Pickett) and Charles Henry Derrey in Buena, Washington.
She married Raymond George Altom in 1953 in Seattle, Washington. He passed away in 2001. She met Marvin Patterson and married in 2004.
Fran loved her family so much and would do anything for them. She was an angel on earth and never knew a stranger. She traveled the United States with her first husband and would “snowbird” to Arizona until his death. After marrying her second husband, they moved to Arizona where the weather was much more desirable.
Fran is preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond George Altom and leaves behind her current husband Marvin Patterson; daughter Melody Altom Nelson (Charly); stepson Jerry Patterson (Jennifer); brother Ken Derrey (Marie); three grandchildren Ian (Shaina) Nelson, Noelle (Justin) Woolley and Evan (Alexandra) Nelson; six great-grandchildren Charlee Belle Nelson, Rush and Holden Woolley, Aiden Jackson, and Onica and Georgia Chase.
Due to COVID-19, there were no services.
