In Loving Memory of Irene Bach: 1938-2021

Posted

Irene was transported to Providence Centralia Hospital and sadly that is where she passed away at the age of 82 from cancer on Oct. 22, 2021. She would have been 83 years old on Oct. 23, 2021, but the good Lord took her to be with him in Heaven. Irene was married to and later divorced to Darwin Dahm and they had one child, Dawn Dahm

Irene was preceded in death by her spouse Arthur A. Bach who died from cancer in 1965.

They had two children, Wayne Bach and Melanie Bach. Irene and Darwin reunited and had a loving long-term relationship until Darwin passed away from cancer in 2004. They had two more children, Cindy Dahm and Janet Dahm.

Irene has five children, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, Dawn Calderon (Manuel) of Carson City, Nevada; Wayne Bach (Becky, family) of Edmonds, Washington; Melanie Lowrance (John, family) of Thurston County, Washington; Cindy LaChine (Danny, family) of Lewis County, Washington; and Janet Bowen (Bill, family) of Randle, Washington. Irene has numerous relatives in Wisconsin, Arizona, Texas and North Carolina. Irene has many friendships she has established in the Randle area since she and Darwin moved there in 1982. She enjoyed walking near her home and chatting with her neighbors.

She liked to cook, bake, travel with family, shop, go to the ocean and spend time with family. She enjoyed decorating for the holidays, reading, spending time outside and walking. She got to travel with her son Wayne and family to Hawaii and take a trip to Italy. She spent time with her daughter Melanie and spouse John of fiLacey and her first grandchild Jessica, of Tumwater, and her great-grandson (Jessica’s son) going to the ocean, fair, pumpkin patch, shopping and day trips to numerous places and local events

Her favorite was going with Melanie to a local drive-through coffee stand, getting a caramel macchiato with a bagel and cream cheese, then going shopping. She enjoyed a trip to Wisconsin to visit her sister Dianna (Don) and numerous other family members. She enjoyed time with her other family and grandchildren. Irene was a wonderful mom, grandma, sister and aunt. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Rest in peace Irene. God has you now.
