Jeanne Katherine Martin-McKenna passed away on Nov. 22, 2022, just days before her birthday, which would have been celebrated on Thanksgiving day this year.
Even though she was terribly sick, she set goals that she was able to meet this last summer and fall, which included her class reunion, the Pacifific County Fair and the birthdays of her kids.
Jeanne was the daughter of John and Marlene (Aust) Martin, who passed away before her. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Katie. She is survived by her husband Brandt, daughter Nicole, and son Josh, as well as grandchildren Brody, Bridger, Bristol and Ivy. She is also survived by her siblings: Jeff, Joni, Jerry and Julie.
Jeanne was a much loved friend and family member. Her early working years were spent mostly as a bartender where she easily made friends and was a dependable listener to her customers. In later years, she transitioned to home health care where her “clients” were treated to a kind, loving caregiver. She will be greatly missed by all.
A memorial service and potluck luncheon is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Jan. 7, 2023, at the Methodist Church in Pe Ell, 416 S. First St., Pe Ell, Washington, 98572.
