It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, Joan Green, on Nov. 24, 2024, in Centralia, Washington. Joan was born to Morrell and Truly Freeman on Oct. 4, 1940, in McAndrews, Kentucky.
She attended Morton schools, and while in high school she waitressed at Burleson’s Cafe in Morton. She then married Don Rowe and they raised three children together. Joan worked very hard to help provide for her family, working at Lyle Wood Products, US Plywood and Champion International Mills in Morton.
Joan is survived by her children, Lorraine (Rich) Railsback, Don (Annette) Rowe and Jennifer Gregersen; grandchildren Aaron, Christopher, Haley, Evan and Andrea; great-grandchildren, Douglas, Rayna, River, Wilder and Kai; treasured nieces and nephews and her beloved shih tzu, Maggie. She is preceded in death by Arvel Lee Green; her parents; siblings, Jeannine, Gary and Arden; granddaughter Amber; and son-in-law Doug Gregersen.
There will be a celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
