Joan Lee Davis Zimmerman was born to Harold and Eva (Burt) Davis on Dec. 21, 1934. The family moved to Winlock when Joan was 5 and Joan lived there for the rest of her life.
She married Merle Zimmerman, the “love of her life,” on July 3, 1954. They raised their family and made their life in Winlock.
Joan enjoyed reading, traveling and her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Merle Zimmerman, in 1995 and her son, Alan Zimmerman, in 2012.
She is survived by two daughters, Janet Reaume of Centralia, and Carol McCann of Port Angeles, Washington; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022 at the Winlock Methodist Church with Pastor Tara Roberts officiating.
A potluck reception in collaboration with the Winlock Senior Center will be held after the service.
