John Richard Lotan (Pa), 88, of Everett, Washington, passed away on Nov. 16, 2024.
Born on March 21, 1936, in Tacoma, Washington, John dedicated his life to his family and his career as a crane operator. A man of strong work ethic, John believed in the value of hard work and the importance of providing for his loved ones. He spent most of his life in construction, where he operated heavy machinery to help build and repair ferry landings and bridges throughout the region.
In addition to his work, John had a passion for rebuilding cars, particularly Land Cruisers. He loved spending time outdoors, whether it was fishing, hunting or camping with his family. A generous and kind-hearted soul, John was always eager to lend a hand to those in need. His sense of humor brought joy to all who knew him.
John was deeply devoted to his beloved wife, Judy, who preceded him in death, as well as to his late parents, John Victor Lotan and Juanita Mae Hale, Delmar and Ellen Merryman, and his brother, Charlie Lotan.
He is survived by his three sons, Jeff (Sharon), John (Ruby) and Joseph Infantino (Sue); his grandchildren, Jerimiah, Michael (Nicole), Christi, Jackie and Joe; his great-grandchildren, Wesley Lotan, Riley, Spencer, Estella and Spencer; and his sister, Anita.
John will be remembered for his dedication to family, his generous spirit and his love for the simple pleasures in life.
