Carolyn "June" Reetz passed peacefully, holding her son's hand, as she made the long-awaited journey to reunite with the love of her life.
Born in 1944, she met her soul mate and eloped in 1966. She became a grandmother to a very special, medically fragile baby in 1986, and spent the rest of her life dedicated to his care. She lived in Centralia, Washington, for the last 34 years.
She was active in her religious life, and was caring and giving to a fault. She loved her 6 children, 17 grandchildren (plus their spouses), and 30 great-grandchildren, but the passion she had for her husband, Arlyn, was a love like no other. They celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2016, just 8 months before her husband passed.
June was preceded in death by her mother and father, and her husband.
June's celebration of life will be held at Dayspring Baptist Church on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at 2 p.m. In fllieu of flowers, please make a donation to an autism charity.
