Karen Annette Pruett was born on Jan. 22, 1943 and passed away on Feb. 9, 2023 peacefully at home. She is preceded in death by her husband Thurman Lester Pruett in 1969; brothers Carl Peetz, Jon Peetz, and George Peetz; and sister Ada Tugaw. She is survived by her four boys Gregory S. Pruett, Dennis D. Pruett, Brian C. Pruett (Lisa) and Mark E. Pruett (Ann); grandchildren Sheldon R. Pruett, Kaylee M. Knudsen, Jordin A. Pruett, Cali. D. Pruett, Milo Grey, Kelsey Harris, Joshua Jameson, Jeremy Ball, Nicole Ball, Kayla Pruett, Kris Pruett, Lucas Pruett, Nathan Pruett, and Natasha Pruett; as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. There will be no graveside service but there will be a celebration of life on March 11 at the senior center in downtown Toledo at 12:00 noon.
