Kim Denise Satcher (Thompson), of Toledo, Washington, passed away on Jan. 9 at the age of 62.
Loved by many, she was very involved in her community where she worked at the elementary school for 31 years and was a member at Toledo First Baptist Church. She had a servant’s heart, spending a lot of her time volunteering in many areas within her church and also as a volunteer firefighter for the Toledo Fire Department.

Kim loved to cook and entertain. She enjoyed camping and trips to the beach. Whether getting outdoors or staying cozy inside and playing card games, she prioritized quality time with her family and friends. She loved living in Toledo; watching the sunsets from her home on Layton Prairie was a simple thing that brought her a lot of joy over the years.

Born Aug. 12, 1962, in Longview, her parents were Dolly and Bob Thompson, and she was the fourth of six children. Kim was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Greg and “Big” Jeff, and she is survived by her sisters, Susie and Debbie, and her brother, “Little” Jeff.
She leaves behind two children, Sarah Ringlbauer and Dustin Satcher, their spouses (James Ringlbauer and Natasha Satcher), and her four grandsons, Jacob (14) and Kaden (11) Ringlbauer, and Lane (5) and Jett (3) Satcher.

Her celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 22, at Toledo First Baptist Church.
