In Loving Memory of Laura Lee Justice (Daarud)

Posted

Laura Lee Justice (Daarud), of Rochester, Washington, was called home to our loving Heavenly Father on the afternoon of Sept. 12, at the age of 62.

Loved ones were with her when she passed away peacefully in her sleep. She had succumbed to her 15 year battle with lung cancer.

Laura was a wife, a mother, a beautician, a baker, the best cook you ever knew, a dear friend to many, a fighter, a helper, a giver, and an all around amazing woman.

She had a way with making you feel safe and loved and she never judged. She just let people be who they were and never looked down on anyone.

She fought valiantly, for many years, several forms of cancer. She fought so hard for her family, that she put above all else.

Her last 3 weeks of life, after being released from the hospital from having a massive heart attack, she spent loving and living with her new lease on life. While those weeks were short she made the very most of it and it was such a blessing to be in her presence.

Many called her granny or mom. Everyone she met just kind of adopted her, she had such a loving heart for others. Her loving memory will live on with each person who had the honor of knowing her. She was such a light in this world and there will forever be a shadow where she once stood.

She is survived by her husband, Douglas Justice of Rochester, her 4 children Jessica Daarud, Julie Vance (& Brandon Vance), Joey Urban, and Jimmy Justice (& Debbie Luker)

She had 11 grandchildren Alyssa, Emma, Kyrstin Daarud, Faith Smith, Chase Deguise, James Deguise, Mackinzie Jordan, Cheyenne Justice, Wyatt Justice, Harley Justice, and Waylin Vance; and two great-grandchildren Landon and Layla

While she is gone, we know that we will one day meet again at the pearly gates of heaven where she will stand in wait for us.

Forever she will be loved, missed, and most certainly never forgotten.

There are no funeral arrangements due to COVID-19 restrictions and the family's wishes.
