Linda Bredo Althauser, 73, passed away of cancer on March 16, 2022, in Centralia, Washington, her home of 63 years. She was born March 9, 1949, to Ruth and Edwin Bredo in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Linda graduated from Centralia High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree at Centralia College and a master’s degree at St. Martin’s University. Professionally, she was an English teacher at Centralia High School.
Linda married Andrew Althauser on April 3, 1969, in Centralia.
She was a loving, caring person who made an impact on families and students. She had a great sense of humor, was a great hugger and listener, and the sweetest person you could meet. She enjoyed reading, camping, sailing, traveling and classic movies.
She is survived by her husband Andrew M. Althauser, sons Brak C. Althauser (wife Suzanne) and Nate L. Althauser, three grandchildren, mother, and sister Kathy Paulis. She was preceded by her father and brother Doug Bredo.
