In Loving Memory of Linda Jean Clark: 1949-2022

Posted

Our Lord Jesus received Linda Jean Clark into Heaven and set her free from cystic fibrosis on Oct. 24, 2022, at 4:15 a.m. Linda was born March 5, 1949, to Joseph Nilsen and Ruby Nilsen (née Parcells) in Bremerton, Washington, and shared her childhood in Poulsbo, Washington, with her brothers Gerald, Joe and Ed.

Linda married her best friend, Jeff Clark, in 1968 and had two loving children, Tina and Nathan. With the love they learned and embraced from their parents, Tina married her love, Charles Lloyd, and Nathan married his sweet love, Karen Lines. Tina and Charles and Nathan and Karen went on to fill Linda’s life with 11 beautiful grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Linda’s ideal day would include tending to her flowers, talking to the Lord and sharing her gentle, unwavering love to those most dear to her. Linda continued to emulate the fruits of the spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self-control) to those around her even through her weakest days.

Although we will miss our sweet pea Linda, we know that she is in Heaven dancing without pain, tip-toeing through the Lord’s tulips, and reuniting with her Mom, Dad and special friend Bobbi Ash. Knowing that Jesus’ death and resurrection paved the way for Linda’s eternal freedom in Heaven brings us great joy and peace.

Linda’s celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Nov. 10, 2022, at New Beginnings Church in Chehalis, Washington. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Claquato Cemetery in Chehalis, Washington, with a reception to follow.
