Lynn Louise Morehead (Yahne) passed at her home in Chehalis on the evening of March 4, 2025, at the age of 80. She was born in Spokane, Washington, on July 17, 1944, to Elmer and Inez Yahne. They soon moved to Ely, Nevada, before returning to the coast of Washington and eventually settling in Renton, where she graduated from high school.
Lynn always seemed to have a smile on her face and had the ability to light up the room whenever she walked in. You could always count on her to help out without being asked. She enjoyed feeding her deer and mowing her lawn with her John Deere rider.
She is survived by her significant other of 32 years, Gary Tapio; sister, Judy Holcomb; daughter, Renee Seago; son, Patrick Morehead; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Dean Yahne.
A celebration of life will be held at the Newaukum Grange at noon on March 29. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Veterans Memorial Museum.
