Maurice S. Jacobsen, 93, passed away June 29, 2021, in Olympia, Wash.
He was born November 17, 1927, to Martin Oliver and Cecil Evelyn (Jones) Jacobsen in Chehalis, Wash.
Maurice married Helen Patricia (Mallonee) (Badger) Jacobsen on February 17, 1961.
He was a Licensed Professional Civil and Structural engineer. He worked in the Washington State Bridge Division and as a consultant after his retirement from the state.
He loved animals, both wildlife and pets, was generous, and loved his family.
He is survived by his wife Helen, daughters Linda (Glenn Baldwin) Jacobsen of Olympia, Margaret (Paul) Olson of Seattle, sons, Bill Jacobsen of Olympia, and Joe Jacobsen of Bothell.
Grandchildren: Dylan Jacobsen Baldwin (Gwen Davies) (Reno, Nev.), Kendra Badger Baldwin (Seattle)
Patrick Olson (Tamami) (Tokyo Japan), Phillip Olson (Seattle), Grant Olson (Beau Murphy), Seattle.
