Nancy Ann Cooper (nee Cline), 60, of Morton, Washington, passed away on Friday, Aug. 19, 2022, at the Oregon Health and Science University hospital in Portland, Oregon, surrounded by her family. Nancy was born on Sept. 1, 1961, to James and Julia Cline in Morton, Washington. In high school, Nancy was a track star. She held Morton High School’s high jump record for over 20 years.

She held many jobs over the years but her passion was working with kids. She worked as a special education paraeducator in Alaska for many years before moving to Pullman to be closer to her daughters.

Nancy had a zest for life and left an impression on everyone she met. She was at her happiest hunting for rocks at the river and spending time with her grandbabies.

She is survived by her three children, Kelli Cooper, of Pullman, Washington, Amanda Cooper, of Rochester, Washington, and Timothy McNulty of Pullman, Washington; as well as her three grandchildren Alyssa, Marcus and Malakai. She is also survived by her mother Julia (Clint) Greeley, of Vancouver, Washington; her father James R. Cline, of Morton, Washington; and her siblings Debi Peters (Cline), of Coos Bay, Oregon, and James M. Cline, of Vancouver, Washington. She was preceded in death by her grandparents James and Florence Cline, of Randle, Washington, and Albert and Laura Bangs, of Glenoma, Washington.

A potluck celebration of life will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 24, 2022, at the Morton Moose lodge. Please come and share your favorite memories with us.
