In Loving Memory of Robert ‘Bob’ Ray: 1978-2023

Posted

Robert “Bob” Ray was born in Yakima, Washington on Feb. 16, 1978, to his father Jim Ray and his mother Vickie Littlejohn. Bob was called home way too soon on Feb. 10, 2023.

A lifelong resident of Glenoma, Washington, Bob was the most loving husband and best friend to his wife Amy for 30 years and a devoted father to their daughter Drew and son Aaden. He was blessed with a grandson, Hunter Hedges.

His dream was to start his own business as a carpenter. He was able to achieve and fulfill that dream in 2020 with his business partner and close, dearest friend Clint Lewis.

Bob was a perfectionist, a dreamer of new inventions and a believer of things beyond this earthly plane. He was so gentle and kind, with a smile so genuine he would make you smile. He did really silly things to make us laugh and was the king of the grill. He loved music, from Metallica to Chris Stapleton. He was the joy of our life and will be missed by all.

Bob is survived by his wife Amy Ray, daughter Drew Ray, son Aaden Ray, mothers Vickie Littlejohn and Elysa Ray, brother Richard “Broth” Ray (Melissa), grandson Hunter Hedges, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, dog Bubbs and cat Smurf. He was preceded in rest by his father James “Jim” Ray.

Please join us for a celebration of life at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023, at the Bob Lyle building at 700 Main Ave. in Morton, Washington. Please feel free to bring your favorite dish for potluck.
