In Loving Memory of Timothy Wall: 1955-2022

Timothy Scott Wall passed away peacefully on Aug. 15, 2022. Tim (Wally) was born on Aug. 16, 1955, to Jack and Bernis Wall. 

Tim is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Cheryl Zwiefelhofer and brother Richard (Dick) Wall. 

Tim is survived by his sister Susie Gieseke, uncle Jack (Cheryl) Baird, and brother-in-law Ken Zwiefelhofer. He was a loving and devoted uncle to nieces and nephews Tammi (Mike) Voorhees, Diedre (Dustin) Krause, Dan (Cari) Wall, Tony (Jolene) Wall, Richelle Wall, Mollie (John) Reischman and Jacob (Stephanie) Gieseke, as well as numerous great nieces and nephews, one great-great-nephew Joseph and one great-great-niece on the way. 

Tim graduated from Winlock High School in 1973. His first job was at Mickelsen’s Dairy until his 18th birthday. Then he was hired at Colorshake during a time he was into motocross. He joined International Paper in 1978. He left IP in 1983 and later formed “Tim Wall Trucking Co.” He sold it in December of 1988 when he went to work at Tim Bowers Logging. After working at Tim Bowers Logging, Tim had numerous jobs in the trucking and logging industry before settling down hauling for JJ Sauter. 

Tim loved spending time riding his Harley, playing poker with friends, snow and water skiing, fishing and watching old classic TV shows. He could recite any line from the Wizard of Oz. 

He enjoyed spending time helping on the Sauter family farm and he finished his trucking career hauling for JJ Sauter. 

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 27 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the residence of Ken Zwiefelhofer.
