Jennie Annan : 1929-2021

 Chehalis Resident Jennie Myrtle Hill Annan, 92, passed Monday June 7, 2021, at home with loved ones attending. 
She was born January 16, 1929, in Ellenville, N.Y. to Harry Hill and Magdalena P. Clark-Hill. 
She lived in Chehalis for 26 years after moving from Onalaska, Wash. (16 years), and Southern Calif. (22 years). She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church in Chehalis, where many knew her as Mom, Grandma Jen, fiMentor, Teacher, Confidant and Friend. 
She enjoyed gardening and was a Master Gardener Emeritus with 26 years participation. She volunteered as a visiting Grandma at ABHS in Chehalis, and meant a great deal to many of whom she sat and counseled with, and spoke her mind on a variety of topics as a caller on the “Let’s Talk About It” radio program. She was quick to offer positive inspiration. 
Jennie is survived by one son, Tim Annan of Tenino; fiand five daughters, Patricia Zimmerman of Chehalis, Lin Rudolph of Sequim, Pamela Herrell of Boulder City, Margaret Rennie of Olympia, and Jennifer Castalucci of Peoria. Her children, grand-and great-grandchildren were a source of joy for her. She was preceded by her husband Theodore John Annan of 50 years in 1998, and her daughter Catherine Clare Schoell of Portland in 2010. 
Remembrances may be donated to the Washington Talking Book & Braille Library, 2021 9th Ave., Seattle, Wash. 98121; Bethel Assembly of God Church, 132 Kirkland Rd., Chehalis, Wash. 98532 missionary fund; or the Master Gardener program of Lewis County. 
Arrangements are under the directions of family. 
Memorial services for Jennie Myrtle Annan will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 26, at the Bethel Church Centralia campus. A Zoom link for out-of-town family and friends will be provided.
